Tree Cabling and Bracing

Structural Support

Residential and Commerical property owners throughout the Greater Houston areas have a lot to worry about. One very real concern is a tree falling during an unexpected storm. Protect your home and enjoy the beauty of your yard longer with tree cabling and bracing. You can be sure you'll stay safe with long-lasting, reliable cables from an expert arborist.—

Tree cabling is a process through which a cable is threaded between two limbs of the tree. This cable is taught and balanced—

Tree cabling is designed to help mitigate damage to trees whose growth patterns may be harming them. Our specially-trained technicians can perform this process on your behalf, and will work diligently to ensure the safety of your tree.
Give your tree the future it deserves by contacting the Houston tree cabling experts at Tree PhD Urban Forestry for a detailed inspection. When you get in touch with us, we’ll come out and assess your trees’ needs, then install cables and braces to keep them strong for years to come. This is a service that can literally give decades of happiness back to your property.

Types of Cabling Systems
Static cabling systems are installed at a fixed height without any moving parts, and are also adjustable for seasonal growth.Dynamic cabling systems offer greater flexibility and can be easily moved up or down the limb to accommodate changing needs. Both types of cabling systems will prevent damage without hindering the trees future growth and development—Static cable systems require less maintenance, with cables firmly affixed to a tree's limb or limbs. Dynamic cable systems are best for when trees are in active development and more prone to tipping over. Cables can be installed throughout a canopy to achieve support
